Claims

A claim is a box of land only you can build in. Other players cannot break blocks or open chests inside it. You mark it with a golden shovel.

Make a claim

Hold a golden shovel.
Right-click one corner of the plot.
Walk to the opposite corner.
Right-click again.

The claim goes from bedrock to sky between those two corners. Your first chest can also start a small claim automatically.

See a claim

Hold a stick and right-click the ground. You see who owns that land.

Claim blocks

You do not get infinite land. New players start with a small budget. More blocks come with time on the server. /claimslist shows how many you have left.

If the shovel does nothing, you are out of blocks, inside spawn, or inside someone else’s claim.

Rules

Do not claim spawn or wrap the spawn road.
Do not draw a thin ring around someone else’s house.
Leave public paths.
Staff can delete a claim that is only there to grief.

Claims do not stop PvP at night outside spawn. They stop breaking and stealing.
